Kuhn Rikon are delighted to be celebrating 25 years of trading in the UK this April.
The UK Company, which is renowned for high quality products and design innovation, was founded in 1980 by John Margetts and Jacques Kuhn - brother of the founder of the Swiss factory, which started back in 1926.
John started from a desk in the spare bedroom and via an office in the garden shed to purpose built warehouse in Wolverhampton, he has built Kuhn Rikon up to a position where they supply over 400 customers with a team of eight sales agents. The Swiss brand has provided a continuous flow of high quality and reliable products and the Swiss origin a point of difference for both the trade and the public.
"Thanks are due", says John, "to our loyal staff and agents who provide an excellent service and to our long standing stockists for the success that we enjoy today". "Product innovation has also played a large part in the success - we are continually able to supply new and exciting items, along with the old favourites to maintain interest, excitement and variety in our ranges of cookware and cooks tools".
Over 25 new products will be introduced this year to provide KR with the hard competitive advantage that will, we hope, ensure another 25 successful years in the UK.
John Margetts - Managing Director March 2005
KUHN RIKON AG is a family-run firm based in Rikon, Switzerland. We produce high quality household goods and market these worldwide through our own sales subsidiaries and partner distributors.
For over 60 years now, we have been developing and manufacturing products that make cooking not only easier, but more pleasurable too - whether it's just everyday fare or a five-course dinner. Our products are not only practical, but are also designed to grace even the most elaborate table. They are also economical and help conserve energy - our DUROMATIC and DUROTHERM lines being particularly fine examples of this.
Thanks to our close cooperation with consumers, catering schools and research institutes, we now have a comprehensive range of cookware and kitchenware to satisfy everyone's requirements. The Kuhn Rikon team is committed to providing our customers with fine quality products for the kitchen, hob and table. This in turn will enable KUHN RIKON to maintain and build on its leading position in this line of business.
We invite you to compare Kuhn Rikon with the rest, and like swiss scenery, it has to be seen to be believed.
