It’s Chinese New Year so why not take a Wok on the wild side and release your inner stir fry?

Chinese New Year celebrations begin on Tuesday 5th February and continue for up to 16 days. 2019 is the year of the Pig, the twelfth animal symbol in the Chinese Zodiac and a symbol of wealth. The Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival, is the most important Chinese celebration of the year when family celebrate together with family, fire crackers and feasting.

It’s a great excuse for everyone else to celebrate Chinese cooking and what better way than to knock up a stir fry.

All you need is a few ingredients, a chopping board, a sharp knife, a frying pan or wok and a turner. We have a selection of suitable knives including chef’s knives, Santoku knives and a cleaver.
