Kuhn Rikon, a Swiss based company, has been producing cookware and kitchenware items since 1926. Our products benefit from Swiss expertise and quality.

Our aim is that every product leaves our factory in perfect condition having been manufactured to the highest standards. We hope and expect that your product will give you years of wonderful service.

We guarantee to provide you with the best possible service and advice from our offices and distribution centre here in the UK at Wolverhampton.

All products purchased through KuhnRikon.co.uk are guaranteed for at least 3 years against manufacturing defects. Many products are supported by additional guarantees.

 

Limited Lifetime Guarantee* on Kuhn Rikon cookware purchased in the UK.

The Limited Lifetime Guarantee covers any defects in manufacture or materials at the time of purchase which are later deemed to have caused a product failure. Products are guaranteed for normal domestic use only.

Please read the Care & Use guidelines on the packaging of your product. You can find more information on this website.

The Limited Lifetime Guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by overheating or mis-use. The guarantee applies only to the original purchaser or to any person gifted the item unused.

If an item is found to be defective it will be replaced. The guarantee does not include carriage to Kuhn Rikon (UK) Ltd for assessment, nor does it cover any consequential loss.

The Limited Lifetime Guarantee applies to faulty workmanship and materials, it does not cover:  

  • Kuhn Rikon cookware purchased outside the UK
  • Accidental damage
  • Acceptable (normal) wear and tear
  • Damage caused by abuse or negligence
  • Staining caused by strongly coloured foods/spices
  • Damage caused by overheating
  • Items that have not been used or maintained in accordance with the Use and Care Instructions
  • Any product which has been modified or repaired by anyone other than Kuhn Rikon UK Ltd
  • Items purchased as pre-owned, refurbished or sold as seen
  • Items purchased via an unauthorised re-seller

 

10 Year Guarantee* on all Duromatic Pressure Cookers

The Duromatic Pressure Cookers are guaranteed for 10 years against faulty workmanship and materials. 2 year guarantee on all parts, subject to wear, such as gaskets, handles, valves, valve caps, and internal components. All spares are readily available through our website.

3 Year Guarantee* for all other products purchased from our webshop

For additional reassurance, all other items purchased from our webshop, www.kuhnrikon.co.uk, are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise. If a manufacturing defect is found we will be happy to repair or replace your product and we’ll cover all delivery charges.

All items purchased through our authorised retailers are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of at least 2 years from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise. Proof of purchase must be provided in order to validate these claims. If a manufacturing defect is found we will be happy to repair or replace your product.

 

How To Claim

Please do not return products to us unless we have asked you to do so. In the first instance please contact us to discuss the problem - email or phone Customer Services (tel. 01902 458410 – Mon to Fri 8.30am to 4.45pm).

We might just need a photograph of the product, or we might ask you to carefully pack the item and return it to us.

We will need proof of purchase (a receipt or your email order confirmation). If products are deemed to be faulty we will repair or replace the product under the terms of our guarantee to you.

 

Manufacturing Defects

A manufacturing defect is defined as any fault in the product’s materials or workmanship, which is present at time of purchase or develops after normal use.

 

Not covered by the Guarantee

Damage caused as a result of the following conditions are not classed as manufacturing defects. The guarantee does not cover:

  • Accidental damage
  • Acceptable (normal) wear and tear (e.g. Pressure cooker spare parts)
  • Damage caused by abuse or negligence
  • Staining caused by strongly coloured foods/spices
  • Damage caused by overheating
  • Scoring of boards
  • Items that have not been used or maintained in accordance with the Use and Care Instructions
  • Any product which has been modified or repaired by anyone other than Kuhn Rikon UK Ltd
  • Items purchased as pre-owned, refurbished or sold as seen
  • Items purchased via an unauthorised re-seller
